2020 CCA Virtual Convention

Dates

Description

Registration for the 2020 CCA Virtual Conference is NOW OPEN!!! Register today to secure your spot!!

More information will be added as we get closer to the event!!

We have asked you through surveys and we have listened. An overwhelming number of responses were analyzed by our continuing education committee as it relates to our upcoming fall convention. We have heard you, and we are seeking to serve you in that exact manner, while make responsible decisions related to the current COVID crisis. While many of you stated you wanted to attend in-person, most of you stated you would not attend if you were required to wear a mask. As we know, the mask mandate is out of our hands and the hotel may even maintain their own policy.

Further, as you may or may not know, there are very strict limitations in Colorado regarding indoor groups as well as a current statewide mask mandate. The CCA Board of Directors met on July 24th and, based on the recommendation from the Education Committee, made the difficult decision to change this year’s convention to a Virtual Convention. Given that we are in the middle of a license period and given the current government restrictions (knowing they may change but unknown to what extent), the Board felt this year is the time to offer a virtual convention.

The convention will be a combination of live hours and distance learning hours. Remember, since Sunset passed, you now have more flexibility in obtaining your continuing education hours. You now have 2-years to get all 30-hours instead of 15-hours per year. Mark your calendar now, all chiropractic licenses expire October 31, 2021 – the same deadline to obtain all 30 continuing education hours.

Please stay tuned for more details. Thank you for your support and understanding throughout the many challenges of these times. Thank you for allowing us to continue to serve you through these trying times, and we can’t wait to see you again in-person!

***Topic: The Ripple Effect

***Date and time: OnDemand 24/7 from October 24, 2020 - November 30, 2020.

*This course does not count for continuing education credit.

Dr Barbara Eaton is a farm-girl at heart, which taught her a number of invaluable lessons: work hard when the time is right or you’ll never get your crop planted or harvested; God and family are what matter most-the rest is just “stuff”; you only get ahead when the whole team wins; and of course-early to bed and early to rise... These truths cultivated a strong foundation for Dr Eaton as she entered the world of entrepreneurialism.

Dr Barbara opened her chiropractic practice in Dec 1998 at the tender age of 29. In less than 90 days she was serving over 180 office visits per week. This momentum continued to escalate leading her to expand her brand with associates, serving her community on the highest level.

For the past 21 years, chiropractors have enthusiastically hired Dr Barbara as their coach when they’re at a plateau and know they’re capable of so much more. New doctors recognize that they learned the skills necessary to be a great chiropractor, but most feel very deficient in the world of business! This robs them of serving chiropractic to the masses and ultimately keeps our profession small so they join Dr Barbara's award-winning 56 Day Chiropractic Boot Camp.

In addition to creating the 2018 Chiropractic program of the Year, The 56-Day Chiropractic Boot Camp, she also founded The Women’s Chiropractic Leadership Boot Camp and was the first and only female to be featured as the ICA Practice Success Academy coach. In May, Dr Barbara was named Sherman College of Chiropractic, 2019 Chiropractor of the Year.

Dr Eaton attributes her success first to God and secondarily to being relentless in her pursuit to create and share intellectual capital coupled with building relationships with some of the brightest entrepreneurs on the planet: Michael Michalowicz; author of Profit First and Clockwork; Dr Matthew Loop, the highest-paid social media revenue strategist in North America and author of How Social Media Made Me Rich and How It Can You Too; Garrett Gunderson, New York Times best-selling author of Killing Sacred Cows, What Would the Rockefellers Do, and The 5-Day Weekend, as well as the Founder and Chief Wealth Architect at The Wealth Factory; and bestselling author of The Zig Zag Principle, Rich Christiansen.

Dr Barbara has shared the stage with super stars like: Brian Tracy, Grant Cardone, Roger Stone, Glenn Morshower, Jay Abraham, Tom Bilyeu, Tucker Max, Klute Blackson, Mike Michalowicz, and JP Sears.

Dr Barbara is well-known for driving hard, having contagious energy, and an unquenchable thirst for helping chiropractors take ALL-IN, MASSIVE action as #goaldiggers. If you know that you have untapped potential, open your heart and mind to Dr Eaton’s message because the world is waiting for you to show up as your very best!

FAQs

Continuing Education Questions

How am I able to get my “in-person” hours through this conference?

In Colorado, any education that is broadcasted live online qualifies as “in-person” education requirement for 2020. This seminar offers 6 “live” hours on Saturday, October 24th.

Do I need to complete all the OnDemand sessions prior to October 31, 2020?

No. With the passing of our Sunset bill and renewal of our practice act, there was a change for continuing education. Instead of needing to get 15-hours each year, you now have 2 full years to get all of your 30 continuing education hours. Be sure to get 30-hours prior to October 31, 2021!

Will I need to send my “Certificates of Completion” to the Colorado Board of Chiropractic Examiners?

No. You do not need to report your CEs to the Colorado Board of Chiropractic Examiners (CBCE) after the seminar. The CBCE conducts random audits throughout the year. You will need to provide proof of completion of continuing education (i.e. your certificate) IF you are audited by the CBCE. The certificate will always be in your account available 24/7, however the CCA recommends you saving a copy of BOTH your continuing education certificate and course synopsis to your computer for easy access.

You certificate will be finalized after the conference ends November 30, 2020.

Can I sign up for just a part of the conference?

No, unfortunately when you register you receive access to the entire conference. There is no way to restrict your hours, therefore there is only 1 rate for the virtual conference.

Why are the on-demand hours available for a month? Do I need to watch it start to finish?

These hours work as traditional “online education” or “distance learning” meaning, you can start and stop and watch at your own pace. You must complete the quiz at the end of each OnDemand section prior to November 30, 2020 to receive credit.

You will need to watch a session completely, take the quiz at the end and turn in your participation codes as directed to get credit.

Questions Regarding the Platform & Access

Can I access the education anywhere?

Yes, as long as you have internet access you can tune in from virtually anywhere.

Can I watch from my phone?

For optimal engagement and the best educational experience, we recommend accessing the education from a desktop or laptop.

If you plan on joining from a mobile device (phone/tablet) we highly recommend downloading the CE21 app for your phone/tablet.

Do I need to be on the whole time during the live-broadcasted hours?

Yes, in order to receive the credit you must watch the entire broadcast in order to see the participation codes that are required to confirm your attendance.

Can you see me if I am tuning in?

No, no camera component is required. No one will be able to see you during the conference, so you can wear your favorite PJs or other comfortable clothes.

Where do I find my continuing education certificate?

Your CE certificate can be found in your account under the ORANGE button “Continuing Education Certificate”.

I can’t attend the Live Kick-Off day on October 24th. Will the live sessions be recorded if I cannot attend on October 24th?

Unfortunately, Dr. James Chestnut will NOT be recorded. Dr. David Seaman will be recorded and available to watch on-demand later on during the conference, however once you are watching the recorded version, it now counts as “online or distance learning” instead of “live hours”.

Does Dr. Barb Eaton’s class count for CE?

Unfortunately, no. Her class does not count for CE.

I missed a participation code, now what?

It is very important to pay attention to be sure you are getting the participation codes throughout each session (OnDemand and Live). Each code will show for 2-minutes. If you miss a code, the code will re-appear 5 minutes after the first time it was shown and be displayed for another 2-minutes. PLEASE PAY ATTENTION.

With the pre-recorded sessions, you can go back and watch the class again, should you miss a code. With the live sessions – the participation code will show twice as described above, just in case you miss it the first time.
