Also Note Recent Rule Changes for CPR:
ALL Remains the same EXCEPT !!! The skill test component must be in-person and at a live class, on ALL CPR!!!
We appreciate your patience in this transition.
In 2000-2001 - CHSAA changed their bylaws to include a Doctor of Chiropractic to perform pre-participation sports physicals for middle school and high school athletes. A DC must have a SPC number on file with CHSAA to perform these pre-participation credits.
All of the CCA's PPE courses meet the requirements as outlined by CHSAA and the CCA will be sure CHSAA has your updated SPC number on file following each course.
To view CHSAA's Bylaws, please click here.
Each class is paired with CPR to meet both CHSAA's requirements and DORA's requirements to have an active CPR card. Hours taken in both of these courses count towards your continuing education requirements per DORA. 1 hour of classroom lecture = 1 CE hour.
CPR must have a minimum of 5 people to move forward with the class. Classes with less than 5 people registered for CPR only may be cancelled up to 3 days prior to the date. If the CPR portion is cancelled due to low attendance, you will be refunded your registration costs. Register early to ensure the class is not cancelled!
***Paper registration coming soon***
You can fax to 303-755-1010 or mail back to the CCA: 8751 E. Hampden Ave Ste B7, Denver CO 80231
*****New to 2019! All classes will come with a $50 at the door registration surcharge, NO EXCEPTIONS. As many of our courses require materials to prep ahead of time, help CCA staff by registering early. Be sure to register at least 2 business day ahead of the course to avoid this fee. *****
