What is a PAC?
A Political Action Committee (PAC) is an organization that pools donations from individuals with shared interests to support political candidates or legislation aligned with their objectives.
The Colorado Chiropractic Political Action Committee (CCPAC) was formed to advance the interests of the chiropractic profession through political advocacy. Our PAC aims to support candidates who are sympathetic to chiropractic issues and may work towards favorable legislation, improved insurance coverage, increased access to chiropractic care, and greater recognition within the healthcare system.
Your contribution will be used to support positive, pro-chiropractic policy with state legislators and allows for a collective impact on the political process as it relates to the chiropractic profession. Each legislative session the CCA staff, Legislative Committee, and Board of Directors, work with our lobbyist to stay on top of legislation that may affect your practice.
Between legislative sessions, we develop and strengthen relationships with elected officials and educate them on the benefits of chiropractic care and the issues facing the profession.
Reasons to donate to the CCPAC:
- Legislative influence: Donating to the CCPAC allows individuals to support candidates who understand and prioritize chiropractic healthcare. By contributing to a PAC, supporters can help shape legislation that affects the profession, potentially leading to positive changes and increased opportunities for chiropractors.
- Amplifying the collective voice: Pooling resources through our PAC can amplify the collective voice of Colorado chiropractors, making it more impactful and influential within the political landscape.
- Advocacy and awareness: The CCA staff and volunteers engage in advocacy efforts to educate lawmakers about the benefits of chiropractic care, including its role in pain management, musculoskeletal health, overall wellness, and cost savings. Your donation supports these educational campaigns and increases awareness about the profession.
- Protecting Your Interests: The CCA aims to protect the interests of Colorado chiropractors. By donating to the CCPAC we can continue our efforts focused on influencing policies that directly impact you, your business, and your patients.
