The FAMLI program starts to pay out benefits to support patients on January 1, 2024. Make sure you're ready for verification claims that will start coming in! We will be reviewing what FAMLI is, how it can affect you and your practice, and how to get yourself set up on the healthcare provider portal. FAMLI experts will share tips and tricks for registering and verifying your license. They’ll also walk you through how quick and easy it is for health care providers, or their delegated staff, to certify claims for their patients.

Tracy Marshall joined the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE) in September of 2021 to stand up the new paid Family and Medical Leave Insurance (FAMLI) Division. Tracy has been a Registered Nurse for over 30 years and holds her Bachelors in Nursing from the University of Wales. She is Board-Certified as a Case Manager, a Disability Management Specialist and is credentialed with the Society of Human Resources Management as a Senior Certified Professional. Prior to joining CDLE, Tracy was a Director of Clinical Operations for Guardian Life Insurances’ Absence Management company.

Joshua Meairs joined the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE) in October of 2021 to assist with building the new paid Family and Medical Leave Insurance (FAMLI) Division. Joshua is a U.S. Army veteran with over 15 years of experience in operational management. He has a Masters in Management and a Bachelors in Biology. Joshua is a Certified Leave Management Specialist and has several years experience in the Absence Management industry.
