Whether you are new in practice or a seasoned practitioner, running a successful chiropractic office requires a clear understanding of the NEW procedures, regulations, and coding. The HIPAA requirements have been recently updated, expanding the criteria for assessing the risk of HIPAA breaches to your privacy and security of patient information. Even the cash practice must conduct risk and security assessments and annual training for the doctors and staff. Dr. Mario Fucinari is a seasoned practitioner who will guide you through a comprehensive risk assessment of your office, explaining the necessary actions and guidelines to ensure your office remains compliant, from the front desk to the treatment room. This class is designed for doctors, staff, and billers.

Program Cancellation and Refund Policy

Attendees may cancel any CCA Seminar for any reason. All refunds will be made according to the following refund schedule:

Cancellation requires a phone call or email to the CCA at

303-755-9011 or cca@coloradochiropractic.org.

  1. Canceling 30 days or more prior to the start date of the seminar will result in a 100% refund.
  2. Canceling between 30 and 14 days prior to the start date of the seminar will result in a credit-only. 
  3. Canceling less than 14 days prior to the start date of the seminar will result in a 50% credit only.
  4. If an attendee does not show for a seminar, no refund or credit will be given.

 

If the CCA cancels a seminar, you will be refunded 100%. If the CCA needs to cancel a seminar, they will, within their best effort, try to cancel in a timely manner. The CCA is not responsible for any incurred travel or accommodation costs.

Dr. Fucinari led a highly successful practice in Decatur, Illinois for 35 years. He graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic Davenport in 1986. Dr. Fucinari is a member of the Carrier Advisory Committee for Medicare, a Certified Professional Compliance Officer (CPCO), a Certified Physician Practice Manager, and a Certified Insurance Consultant. He is the author of several books on matters such as Corporate Compliance, HIPAA, ICD-10 coding, and E/M Guidelines. He has been presenting continuing education classes for over twenty-seven years and is a nationwide speaker for several organizations.
