Dr. Monika Buerger, B.A., D.C.


Dr. Buerger graduated from Life Chiropractic College-West in 1991.  She also has an undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology from California State University, Fresno.  She currently has a private family practice in Ammon, Idaho that is dedicated to serving those with neurodevelopmental challenges, neurodegenerative disorders and chronic health issues.  She has been lecturing nationally and internationally for over 25 years. She is the pioneer in the chiropractic profession when it comes to working with children that have Neurosensory and Neurodevelopmental Disorders and brought this work to the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) where she lectured for nearly a decade.

She is a contributing author to the textbook Pediatric Chiropractic, Volumes I, II and III with chapters on Foundations of Neurodevelopment, Sensory Processing Disorder, and Pediatric History and Physical Exam. She writes regularly for various chiropractic magazines and journals about neurologically based chiropractic care.

Dr. Buerger has always been ahead of the times, leading the way on health information and bringing the research from multiple disciplines to the chiropractic world in a subluxation-based manner.

She is the founder of the Academy of Neurodevelopmental Practices and has also collaborated with Dr. Heidi Haavik with Haavik-Buerger Seminars.  Her “developingMINDS” certification program in Childhood and Adolescent Neurodevelopment is unparalleled. In this incredible program, she mentors practitioners from around the globe and has brought 30+ years of her research, teaching, and clinical experience together to serve humanity at its highest level and help Turn the Tide for generations to come!
